22nd June 2023: The latest What Car? survey confirms what we at Dales have known for a long time - Suzuki cars cannot be beaten when it comes to reliability. In their 2023 Reliability Survey What Car? asked over 25,000 readers to report on their experience with owning used cars aged between six and twenty years.
'Of the 30 car brands measured, Suzuki ranked first place in the league table with a score of 94.7 per cent. Owners were asked if their car had suffered any faults over the last two years, how long the repairs took as well as how much it cost.
The good news continued with two Suzuki models ranking well inside the top 10 most reliable models.'
The Vitara and Swift received scores of 99.3% and 98.1% respectively, with only six per cent of owners developing any faults within their time owning the car - none of which caused the car to be undrivable, and with the vast majority being repaired within a day.
