We really hope you and your families are well at this incredibly challenging time.
We wanted to let you know about the services that we can offer to help you right now.
According to official government guidelines, all car dealerships can continue to sell cars remotely as well as deliver to customers during this lockdown – providing essential hygiene and social distancing measures are in place. This is in addition to the servicing, repairs and MOT that our workshops continue to offer to essential workers.
From the team here at Dales, we would like to remind all of our customers that our extensive range of new and used vehicles are available to purchase online during this time, and our friendly team of experts are on hand – either over the phone or via email – to help guide you along the process. We are also able to facilitate the delivery of any purchase and will do so whilst meeting the appropriate hygiene standards.
We would like to reassure our customers, that our showrooms will reopen when permitted. We are using this time to prepare the organisation to operate within the new guidelines. This includes social distancing and the use of PPE, protective screens and regular sanitisation, to reduce the risk of infection.
We look forward to resuming business within our showrooms and in the meantime have ensured that our fantastic offers are accessible to all online – whilst most importantly, prioritising the safety of our staff and customers.

Update from Dales
Temporary closure of our showrooms
Like all businesses within the UK and indeed, worldwide, we are closely monitoring the impact that COVID-19 is having on our business, our colleagues, customers and business partners.
We are very much aware and respectful of the Government’s message that all UK citizens and businesses must play their part to protect the most vulnerable in our society and to ensure that the NHS has the ability to care for the inevitable, increased number of patients that will be affected by the virus in the coming days and weeks.
For these reasons, the Board of Directors have taken the decision to close all Dales showrooms to customers with immediate effect.
Our Scorrier workshops and parts departments will however remain open for breakdown, emergency repairs and MOT’s, this will ensure those customers wishing to use their vehicles are kept mobile.
Also, our LCV Scorrier workshop remain fully operational as we recognise the need to support our local businesses, who supply vital local services, by keeping their vehicles on the road.
We will also continue to support customers who wish to purchase cars, via our online services at www.dalescornwall.co.uk . This will be live during our closure and our sales teams are still eager to hear from you. We have added many more photos and videos of our used cars and will respond to any email enquiries. We will be able to give you a part exchange valuation, you can apply for finance and purchase, all without having to leave your home.
Over the coming days, the Dales team will work together, to care for our customers and look after each other’s well-being. This is a situation that we have not had to deal with before; we are entering uncharted territory and will be learning and adapting as we travel along this path.
Our teams will be working with our local communities to offer our support to frontline workers. We want to help ensure that keyworkers’ vehicles stay safely on the road and support where we can if they need help getting from place to place.
