The new CUPRA Ateca takes performance to a whole new level. It’s powered by a 2.0 TSI petrol engine with 300 hp and 295 lb/ft of torque, with power sent to all four wheels through a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The 4Drive system is unbeatable come rain or shine and all models have adaptive dampers with Comfort, Sport and CUPRA modes. 0-62mph happens in just 4.9 seconds with superb handling to match.

There’s a new 9.2” touchscreen and an updated 10.25” Digital Cockpit for a digital driving experience. You can add Brembo brakes if you’re serious about track days and the Ateca sits on beautiful 19” alloys. The Comfort and Sound Pack is worth adding for the electric tailgate, Beats audio system and heated front seats.

Design

No punches have been pulled in designing the CUPRA Ateca. Its muscular body and powerful stance give it a commanding road presence, with 19” alloy wheels, quad exhaust tips, colour accents and full LED headlights hinting at the performance beneath.

Drive

You can change the character of your Ateca using the CUPRA Drive Profile, which has four modes - Normal, Sport, CUPRA, Individual - for every kind of journey. The 2.0 TSI engine and DSG gearbox deliver relentless pace and the 4Drive system is rock solid.

Practicality

The Comfort and Sound Pack adds an electric tailgate and all models have keyless entry and start. The boot is a decent size, offering 485 litres of space with 60-40 split folding rear seats for modularity. There are ISOFIX points on both rear outermost seats.
